Product Description

CURT Manufacturing’s Class 5 Xtra Duty+ (XD+) and Commercial Duty+ (CD+) hitches are high capacity and American made. Like all CURT hitches, the XD+ and CD+ hitch line undergoes a new 11 step finish process including an advanced A-coat under a durable, carbide powder coat. Independent salt spray tests confirm that the A-coat is substantially more rust and chip resistant than the more commonly used E-coat. XD+ and CD+ hitches have large, powerful main bodies and feature extra wide safety chain loops for heavy duty hooks. These hitches use strong, grade 8 hardware. XD+ hitches push capacities of up to 17,000 lbs GTW and 2,550 TW. CURT CD+ hitches can tow an impressive 20,000 lbs GTW and have a TW of 2,700 lbs.

1DO NOT ORDER FOR OLDER STYLE GM PICKUPS. (PRE 2007) YOU WILL HATE THE WAY IT HANGS DOWN
By John Deere
This product has been discontinued but nobody will tell you that. When you order this old number, you will get 15211.
15211 is made to fit later trucks with the wider bumper. On an older truck like mine, it will fit It looks very very bad.. It seems to hang down low. The spare tire tread can be seen between the cross memeber of the hitch and the bumper. The 15108 fit the older trucks beatuifully but they no longer make it.
Looks great on 2007 and up tho.

5Very Heavy Duty Receiver
By Jon
I took off my rusted receiver and was originally going to replace it with the exact same type for about $130. I decided to upgrade and spend $300 on a heavy duty receiver. I am very happy with the quality of this "Made in the USA" receiver. It is almost too heavy to lift by myself- had to use a floor jack to hold it in place for mounting. I don't expect any problems with it because it appears well made. Mounting it was easy, all hardware provided. Couldn't ask for a better purchase- money well spent. Haven't towed yet but this receiver exceeds my trucks capacity. I won't exceed the trucks capacity- this is just for peace of mind.
