Hitch installed easily. We've towed our gooseneck trailer with it several times and are happy with the hitch. We are looking forward to towing our RV with it this summer. We purchased the hitch because we bought a short bed pickup and needed to have the flexibility of turning sharp corners ie backing into campsites, etc.

Install and first trip review

Installation was problematic. Mounting brackets were installed outside of frame with a bit of difficulity rather than inside frame according to directions. Too much stuff to remove to mount inside frame. Had purchased the 16303 bracket as the company rep suggested but couldn't use it. With the exception of the mounting glitches and the waste of $20 on the bracket I didn't need I am satisfied with the end results. Just completed a 1400 mile trip and the hitch worked flawlessly. The install was on a 2006 Dodge 1/2 T Pu short bed quad cab.

I love this hitch

I had to have a slider hitch because of my short bed truck. I did a good bit of research on this product and am very glad I purchased this one. It is very well made and very heavy duty. It performs very well when I use it and I would recommend it to anyone.
