5Very durable
By JDman
I have a GMC 1997 K2500 SLE. Took off the tow hooks, put up the hitch and then used the same 4 bolts from the hooks to mount the hitch. I put the tow hooks back up to. You need to cut a small piece if the plastic license plate holder, which it no big deal. Fits great, and has plenty of clearance from the ground.

5Easy Installation, Quality Construction
By tompierre
Very easy to install on my 1992 K1500 Chevy Pickup, although you must remove or modify the plastic air dam. This hitch will fit with the license plate bracket in place, although I removed mine, as my state does not require it. I purchased a second and used it on my 1994 K2500 Suburban, as the Reese Towpower 65021 Front Mount Hitch Receiver model did not fit the suburban (see my review).
