sturdy and easy to install

When you don't have to drill the frame to put one of these things on, you can breeze through the installation. Having a torque wrench is a good idea. Position the hitch and install 6 bolts 4 of which receive these rectangular plates for washers and you are done.

Excellent Quality Curt 13145 Tow Receiver & Very Easy Install

I had been looking for an unobtrusive towing receiver for my all black Dakota quad cab for some time. Found this curt on amazon. I like the round tube design. Not chunky looking like the typical square stock design. It was about $127.00 plus free shipping. Checked other sites and it was $35.00 to $50.00 more, so i ordered it. I was shocked when it arrived 3 days later. Very pleased when I opened the box; This thing is Heavy Duty and beautifully finished in a black powder coat finish.

The installation was easy with no drilling. It took me less than 45 minutes total, by myself. I would advise help, in which case would take 15 to 20 minutes. Also came with 6 bolts, 4 replace existing bolts and 2 fit unused holes in the frame.

It looks great on my all black truck. The only giveaway is the Bully receiver mount Brake/running light (also recommend - about $10.00 on amazon - takes a common 1157 bulb & is brighter than the LED versions. The link is below). Th ere is a plastic label on the receiver with the curt logo & towing Weight specs. I pealed it off and put it on my door jamb where it's more easily readable. (This is my first review. I'm a regular amazon customer & don't have time to review every purchase i make.
